This year our country was South Korea – this year we got to study Korean art, cuisine, folk stories, language, geography and more! Thanks also to Geoff for kindly giving his time to tell us about life there and his experience there as an English teacher.

Forest School
Goshawks have been taking part in forest school all autumn term which has allowed us to carefully observe the dramatic changes in our surroundings as we move through the seasons. This has included weaving, discovering edible and not-so-edible things found in the wild, knot-tying, cooking on the open fire and (dead) tree felling!
Pulleys Investigation
Meet ‘Big Carl’ – the worlds largest crane and found just down the road at the enormous nuclear construction site at Hinkley Point C . Goshawks have used this as inspiration to build their own cranes, investigating how pulleys can help us lift heavy loads…
