The 7 Wonders

As part of our topic ‘Architecture’, we have been looking at the 7 Wonders of the World, and researching facts in order to attract tourists.

Great Walls of China

We have all been incredibly impressed with the standard of projects bought in before half term! This just goes to show what you can achieve- each and every one of them is fantastic. Here is an example of the high standard of structures we received.

On Wednesday, we learnt how to make a chicken chow mein with Mrs Light and Mrs Wills, thank you both for your help! We would like to thank everyone that helped with cooking, we couldn’t have done it without you!

K’Nex day!

We had a fantastic surprise on Wednesday- a team from Festomane arrived at school, to teach us all about pneumatics (just ask us what it means!). We had great fun using the K’Nex to construct models, and we were able to incorporate our pneumatic designs into our planning.

All props are go!

The class have been hard at work creating the props for ‘Robin and the Sherwood Hoodies!’

They have been designing programmes and scenery, as well as smaller sized props which you will see in the next couple of weeks!

Pancake day

In literacy, we have been looking at how to write and follow instructions. We put our knowledge to the test and followed a recipe to make pancakes…they were very successful!
